NEET Prevention

We know how important progression data is in the current climate and at K2 we can offer schools and other referrers a positive destination that will enable you to protect that destination data that is becoming an all-important target for educational facilities.

Against a backdrop of economic recession, high youth unemployment and a sustained reduction in public funding, the task of supporting young people to make effective post-16 transitions into further education or employment is highly challenging.

Here at K2 we are committed to working with schools within the area in order to provide additional support to those young people identified as at risk of not securing a progression route. We will achieve this by offering learners with grade E in maths and English the chance to improve those grades complete with meaningful work experience, and a vocational qualification.
