How Will This Course Be Delivered?

An Apprenticeship is a real job with training so you can earn a wage while you learn and pick up some qualifications as you go. To achieve your Apprenticeship you will work towards a combination of qualifications which together are awarded as an Apprenticeship Framework. You will work full time, usually around 37 hours a week, of which one day will be attending day release at College.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will be assessed on your practical abilities in your workplace. Workplace assessments may be observations, professional discussions, interviews or inspections of your work. You will also be required to complete assignments and projects. Some course units are assessed by examinations.

5 GSCEs including Maths and English

What Qualifications Will I Get?

Level 3 IT Diploma
Level 2 Functional Skills in English, maths and IT (If required)

How Do I Get A Place On The Course?

If you are living in England and are over 16 years-old you can apply for an apprenticeship.

What Else Do I Need To Know?

The level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship takes around 18 months to complete, but this will depend your individual ability, prior qualifications and the employer’s training requirements.
