How Will I Be Assessed?
You will be assessed on your practical abilities in your workplace. Workplace assessments may be observations, professional discussions, interviews or inspections of your work. You will also be required to complete assignments and projects. Some course units are assessed by examinations.
What Are The Entry Requirements?
5 GCSEs including Maths and English
What Qualifications Will I Get?
Level 5 Diploma
Level 2 Functional Skills in English, maths and IT (If required)
How Do I Get A Place On The Course?
If you are living in England, are over 16 years-old and do not currently hold a level 4 qualification or above you can apply for an apprenticeship.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
The Level 5 Operational/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship takes around 2.5 years (30 months), but this will depend on your individual ability, prior qualifications and the employer’s training requirements.
Strategic planning is an organisation’s process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to carry out this strategy.
Operational planning is the process of planning strategic goals and objectives. It describes milestones, conditions for success and explains how a strategic plan will be put into operation during a given operational period.
Resource management is the efficient and effective development of an organisation’s resources when they are needed.
Talent management refers to the expectation of the people within the organisation and the planning to ensure everybody maintains it.
