health-safety

The Level 2 award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification is appropriate for you if you require a better understanding of work in this area. The emphasis is on making you safe, others safe and also you are capable of identifying potential hazards. “Health and Safety” takes as its starting point the fact that most accidents are attributable to a lack of knowledge or carelessness and that the key to improvement is increased awareness on everybody’s part.

The qualification is suitable if you are in employment or if you have just started work for the first time or with a new employer.

This is a competence based qualification which is assessed at work or in a simulated workplace.
